eBay has been a green company since day one! I mean think about it, this has been a marketplace providing a way for all users to buy and sell used products. Keeping products out of landfills and making money at the same time! What more could anyone ask for! THANKS EBAY!
86 million buyers and sellers on eBay have reused over $100 billion worth of products since 1998.
eBay staff has been a part of the “Green Team’ for several years as they were making eBay a Greener place to work. This team has evolved into a huge organization standing behind a great cause!
The Green Team was developed and launched publicly last month. I was honored to have Libby Reder on my radio show @ PowerSellingMomRadio.com . Libby is the Program Manager of Global Citizenship at eBay. “The green team evolved very organically” she shares with us during the interview. She further explains how eBay's leadership stands behind this project 100% with creating a "Greener eBay!"
John Donahoe, eBay's CEO was part of the "Green Vine" cutting ceremony during the grand opening of eBay's "Mint" building in May, 2008. This building holds 3,248 solar panels covering 60,000 square feet. And was designed and built to the U.S. Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold standard. My husband got a bit emotional when this came on, SO the start of it is a BIT messed up! LOL I still wanted to share! It was sooooooooooo much fun having a film crew come out to my home! They were here 5.5 hours and the producer was from San Francisco (Ray) Great guy!

John Donahoe President and CEO, eBay Inc.
John Donahoe became President and CEO of eBay Inc. on March 31, 2008.
In this role, John has global responsibility for growing each of the company's business units, which include eBay Marketplaces, PayPal and Skype.
John came to eBay in February 2005 as President of eBay Marketplaces,
responsible for all elements of eBay's global ecommerce businesses.
In this role, he focused on expanding eBay's core business, which accounts for a large percentage of the company's revenues. John also oversaw a number of strategic acquisitions, including Shopping.com and StubHub, and classifieds sites, such as Gumtree and LoQUo.
During the three years he served as President of Marketplaces, revenues and profits for this division doubled. Prior to eBay, John spent more than 20 years at Bain & Company, a worldwide consulting firm based in Boston. Starting as an Associate Consultant, John rose to become the firm's CEO, where he oversaw Bain's 30 offices and 3,000 employees. In addition to serving on eBay's Inc.'s Board of Directors,
John is also on the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College. John received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Let’s see who can cash in on “The Fame” of some super secret news that MAY or MAY NOT be true. Let me waste more of my time seeking out as much negativity that I can.

Excuse me, but how is this helping your career? All the time and energy spent on drama could be productive positive energy spent on making money and becoming a BETTER eBay seller!
Don’t worry about the changes coming.
Adjust your business accordingly and carry on.
Don’t worry about what he said/she said and worry more about YOU, your business your family and the bills. Too many people are losing homes and giving up.
Today I want to encourage you to NOT GIVE UP!
Become a better eBay seller and rise above the drama. Because it will indeed suck you in so fast that soon it will be next week and you will have no money. WHY?
Because you spent too much time riding the drama train!
I dare you to put all that energy into researching a new product to sell, listing items, editing current listings,educating , learning and/or doing some marketing for your business. Pull that drama train cord to STOP and get off that train now!
Walk away from the drama. Stay clear of it.
Negative energy produces negative results.
Positive energy produces positive results.
