Lunch with Louise

I had the pleasure to have lunch with a fellow eBay friend that drove into Ocala in her RV. We had lunch at her place in the parking lot of Sams Club:


She made a lovely lunch with homemade Chicken Salad
and fresh baked Peanut Butter Cookies for later!
I even got to take home a doggie bag!!!


When she wasn't looking I managed to add a PowerSellingMom magnet
to the back of her van!
Then I gave in and had to tell her so we got a photo of it:




Was great to see her again!

She and her husband are coming back on Monday and we are having
an eBay party!
Another couple are in town with their camper from Wisconsin and we invited them over as well.

eBay is Shoplifting Free

I had to laugh this weekend as my friend Louise, aka: Herbs-Crafts-Gifts made a comment that I loved:
"In eBay you don't have to worry about shoplifting!"

Is that COOL or what?

As sellers on eBay vs. selling at the flea market or a brick-and-mortar store, there are always a couple shoplifters helping themselves to a few items here and there. Many times at the end of the day while unpacking the van, I could recall items missing.

I can remember chasing a guy through the flea market once in Chicago when he lifted something off my table. Then as I was running after him I was thinking at the same time, "What the heck am I going to do if I catch him?"

I mean really, I'm not wonder woman or anything.
I did have some Karate in college but he could hurt me, geeesh!

Once I realized that I stopped chasing him. It was not worth a few bucks lost vs. risking my life.

Louise was right on about her comment.

Think about it ............
No one can reach into our virtual shelves and run off with our eBay items!

Well, I may feel like it sometimes when an item slips through the cracks for 99 cents,, lol
But 99 cents is still better than a chase through the store isles!

I run a radio show every Friday night, 8:00 PM est.
Last night I had a show booked even though it was the day after Christmas I felt to carry on and have my show. The last few months I've been having only myself on the last Friday of the month and using it as a way to talk all about a subject or a few. Great time for me to promote whats going on in my eBay life and with my eBay store.

Anyhow, last night my daughters were flying home from Denver where they spent Christmas with their dad and brother and they happen to be coming to my house during the radio show.

I hated to cancel it, so I called my special friend that drove my husband and myself from Kansas to Denver last October to see if she could lend me a hand and she was gracious enough to help me out along with her friend, now my new friend as well.
These two gals did a fantastic job and I can't thank them enough.
